A customer recently gave me a small issue to solve. The iPad calendar crashes every time March 2013 is viewed in month view. Week view and day view are fine.
The issues occurs when there is an all-day appointment on the 1st April. Apples idea of an April fools joke??
To solve the problem change the appointment to a timed event. This is done by selecting the event, and tapping edit. Once in the edit mode, select the “Start, End” option. There you will see the All-day switch. Set this to off and choose a time range. When you are done click done button at the top.
Now you will be able to see March 2013 in month view. Enjoy.

Same problem..now my calendar crashes and won’t open atall…help!
I had to change mine from another computer that was also linked into the iCloud. Second computer wasn’t a Mac!

Thank you! It was driving me potty. Bit odd isn’t it? Compounded by my exchange server, with which I sync, auto-inserting public holidays as all day events. The 1st this year Easter Monday.

You should be able to get to April 1st by not putting your Calendar into Month view, instead try week view.

It won’t work if you are using UK Holidays calendar. 1st of April is Easter Monday !
Mine won’t open as its in month view and we r in march….I don’t have a linked computer. Any advice please as cant get to April to change events!
The calendar won’t even open at all when I click on it, so I can’t edit it. Any ideas? Or do I just have to wait til April to be able to get into the calendar again? Very strange…
